22 out of 100- Conversation I had not with this person but with a Black man I photographed last night. 🎧 Me: its been hella challenging to find subjects for this project, it’s not like I’m asking black men to jump over a bonfire. HIM: no but you are, because in order for someone to be comfortable with how other people see them they have to first be comfortable with how they see themselves. It’s self introspection and what you’re asking for is self awareness that most people aren’t willing to undergo. So yea you are asking for a lot, it’s just what you’re asking for is fair. 🤯🤯 this conversation last night has made me think about how I’m approaching black men to participate, stay tuned
