I want masculinity changed to something that doesn't require men to deny their humanity, that’s one of my intentions with this photo-series. As I navigate these conversations in the world, I also feel obligated to remind everyone that Black men are not templates for other peoples aesthetics and politics, and should not line the pockets of those who are contemptuous of us - including many of ourselves.
