How did I begin? I started out like we all started out, a coward. Then I started listening to what fear was trying to teach me. It said you cannot heal what you don’t reveal. Beginning my journey to use my power responsibly looks like many things, one of those things has to look like me sharing with everyone my past, that I was homophobic, verbally and emotionally abusive to lovers, and perpetuated rape culture. If I don’t use this power, someone else will use it against me.
